Current and past

Sadly due to the Covid 19 pandemic the December 2020 Championship was cancelled and moved to August 2021 to run alongside The Welsh Kennel Clubs General Championship Show. This too was sadly cancelled due to the Covid use of the venue at Builth Wells. Alternative venues and dates were sought for the 2020 Championship Show to enable it to still be held in 2021  but after extensive research and restrictions sadly this was not possible to organise. However both Judges were asked to officiate at the 2023 Championship Show & had KC approval.

Sadly we also had to cancel the Open Shows in February 2021, and then again in February 2022, also due to Covid restrictions and availability of venues.

The 2021 Championship Show, the 50th Anniversary, was eventually held on Sunday 5th December 2021 at Pontardawe Leisure Centre. The dog Judge was Mrs Anne Prowse and the bitch Judge was Mrs Niamh Ballantyne, both awarding CC's for the first time, an exciting show celebrating the 50th Anniversary. Critiques from the Judges have been posted on the Results section & photographs of the main winners, & more, have been added to the gallery below.

The 2022 Open Show was held in conjunction with The Welsh Kennel Club Championship Show on 21st August, Hound Day, at Builth Wells showground. The Breed Judge was Luke Sampson with the SAC & JHA classes judged by Alex Paisey.

The 2022 Championship Show was held on Sunday 4th December 2022 at Eastern Leisure Centre, Llanrumney Avenue, Llanrumney, Cardiff, CF3 4DN. The Judges were - Mark Smith, dogs, and Stephanie O'Brien, bitches, first time CC's in the UK.
